Staff at Fulham Correctional Centre will mark this year’s International Women’s Day, on Monday 8 March, by recognising women in leadership in a world impacted by COVID-19.
Ravenhall Correctional Centre will recognise the achievements and leadership of its female staff this International Women’s Day (Monday 8 March), proud that 50 per cent of its 590-strong workforce are women.
Case workers play a critical role in the rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners and will be specially recognised by GEO Australia during today’s National Correction Day activities.
Men released from the GEO Group managed Ravenhall Correctional Centre in Melbourne were provided with more than 4700 instances of telephone support and case management through The Bridge Centre, also managed by GEO, during the recent COVID-19 lockdowns.
Junee’s Dog Agility Park has been officially opened by the Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke. The park is a collaboration between the Junee Correctional Centre, Junee Shire Council and the Junee Community Consultative Committee.
