The culture, history and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are celebrated at all GEO managed correctional centres, with a range of special events held over the past few months for staff and prisoners.
Twenty-five years ago, on 7 April 1997, Fulham Correctional Centre received its first prisoners at the medium security facility, which then had a capacity for 590 offenders.
